Tubertini UK

Marco VolpiTubertini Lines: All nylons are produced by Kyoritsu Shoji Co. Ltd. Japan exclusively for Tubertini.

Kyroritsu Shoji is one of the best equipped Japanese companies. They only work with polymers for high tenacity monofilament, specific for sport fishing, this company doesn't’t produce for other industrial sectors.

Monofilament production:

Fluorocarbon - Fluorine - Dynema

The raw materials arrives to us in hanks (3000m & 5000m) then these hanks are treated nebulizing the product with protecting substances that save the product from light and other environmental agents such as heat and salt. Moreover we take delivery of hanks, instead of spools, because it avoids the line being damaged by crushing, as such the quality is the same from first till last meter.

All lines have different specification from one to the other but price shouldn't be be taken as indication of better quality, in fact it isn’t true that most expensive lines are always the best, it depends on what they have been designed to do. In our range of products there are lines that are designed to be particular to a certain style of fishing, such as Surf Casting, Jigging or used as a Fluorocarbon Snood or Hook Length. Each one of our lines gives a far better performance for it's category than more expensive lines.

Our lines breakage resistance is verified by two processes. The first one is calculated whilst fishing in real live situations. The second is a more standard method and is taken in the laboratory using ultimately calibrated machinery.

These are stated as S [Simulated during fishing] or A [Actual stated size produced under regulated testing]

Dynema Quattro from Tubertini

Tubertini Quattro Multifibre Dynema Monofilament - This multi-fibre line is perfectly cylindrical and will not damage the guides. The Quattro, 4 + 4 Dynema Lines “X” braids are made up of 25 micro filaments each (200 in all).

Tubertini Quattro Dynema offers an ultra high reduction to the risk of knot damage, virtual elimination of breakages when placed in a 'Line Clip', lower abrasion and reduced fraying rates.

This is the result of the new weaving method that takes the elasticity from zero to 3 %. Of course it will also reduce the risk of loosing a diving fish or one that makes a sudden lunge at the boat side. The choice of Champions both on the Shore and in a Boat. Ideal for plugging too!
